Okay people here is a blast from the past. This is a 9mm carbine I picked up some years ago and there are not a lot of them around. It predates many of the 9mm carbines in use today.
There are a couple of them seen in the John Wayne movie McQ but you have to look for them. They are also seen in news footage of protests being carried by the police in the mid 60s. This one may have been used by Seattle PD when it was new.
I made the scope mount and the new foergrip, it took me a few hours of time at the mill to make the rails. The red dot sure make hitting the target much easier... The stock sights were really bad. I made the mount for the collapsing stock, from one that was designed for another firearm.
Over the years I have had many people belittle me because I'm just a welder, and they are this high paid what ever. What are these people going to do when their money is no good? Me I have the skills and know how to make tools and things. Knowing how to weld and use a mill and lathe have kept me eating over the years... In the end I will likely have the last laugh.

I know that that's what scary. There are two books that are worth getting they are Makeshift Workshop Skills for Survival and Self-reliance and More Makeshift Workshop Skills both are by James Ballou. I'm lucky I've been picking up tools for years and I have most of the tools needed to do some major repairs.
Here you can see what they look like with the different models https://www.imfdb.org/wiki/Wilkinson_Arms
