People wonder why I like the old cars and trucks... I can find the engine and fix it myself! If you look at the sticker on the valve cover you will see it's a 200 hp 318 V8. A friend has the same truck with a flat head six that was former US Army rig. I have seen them with the Slant Six too. Someone said I should put a Big Block V8 in it and I asked WHY? I have a little 2.8 L diesel I'm thinking of putting in it.

Real power from mopar... Diesel is a great alternative.. Less moving parts too. That carb looks all alone sitting there with that little air cleaner with it. It looks like one of those filters from the dress up asile from autozone.. I do know thats only a 46 amp alternator 55 amps max I have an old 75 thats looks like this under the hood that ol d200 what a rocket man thing does keep going and going..
