I finally decided on a new theme!
This series of daily sketches is all about couples.
Each sketch will focus on two characters in physical interaction with each other. Social, romantic, intimate, sexually explicit, in conflict, there are many ways for two characters to interact.
Here's the first one to get things started.
11 minutes, no reference used.
I didn't put in much surface detail since my focus was more on getting the body shapes and postures to look right.
I'm still not satisfied with his right arm. I think his shoulder might be dislocated or something, but I got sick of erasing and re-drawing it.
I'll do this pose again some time with a photo reference so I can get a better handle on it.
