For some reason I always envisioned their home planet like that of ferngully....because I have an imagination problem, I suppose.
But this makes much more sense with those wings of theirs, and reminds me of this old painting I'd sit and stare at whenever I went to space camp. One of those retro future things from the 50-70's era I think.
...In short, damn that's pretty.
