I'm not sure why I used brown pen for this, why I gave her red hair, or why she looks so unimpressed! Actually, I remember when I was just a kid I tried to dress my cat in doll's clothes and put her in a highchair - I ended up at the hospital covered in scratches and needing a tetanus shot. I guess cat's don't like playing dress-ups. ^_^'
I think she's waiting for someone. She's gone to the effort of looking nice for a reason, but she's feeling a bit awkward about it. I once tarted myself up in lingerie and waited to surprise one of my old boyfriends. I felt totally ridiculous - like a turnip tied up in a lace doily.
What's she even sitting on? I half imagined a kind of loft or somewhere up high. Maybe her boyfriend's an owl and she dragged some cushions up there to make herself comfy when it's nookie time.
So.. umm... yeah. I'm the artist and even I don't know what's going on! My brain is on vacation. All I know is that I like the bosom squash. =^x^=

I'm particulary focused on the pink clothes, on the lights you put on them, making them so attractive that I want to touch those legs! And the ribbon in her hair, meeeew!

Such a cute pin-up! Regardless of whatever lines of logic (or lack thereof) that you followed to produce this piece, it certainly all worked out. The mix of "unimpressed" and "shy" works well here, giving her a slightly awkward but pensive expression that indicates that she's been waiting a bit longer than she had anticipated (that or the wait just seems long), and some people start to think too much when they get bored, which is likely the reason she is looking a little awkward. All in all, it makes her seem a bit more realistic that way; we don't see her as simply "sexy" or "cute", but rather a moment before she ramps up the seductive charm.
As for the loft/bench, well, cats do love high vantage points, so this would be a perfect place for a feline lover to lie in wait.

Very nice pic, Fio. I think the red hair works very well for her. Personally, I don't think she looks unimpressed, maybe a bored or like she's starting to get a little tired of waiting. In any case, she definately looks like she wants some company.
What I like most about this pic is her stockings. Plain and simple, but work so well to adding to the cuteness of the character. Makes me wish I had the money to bid on this pic, but sadly, I have to save what little money I have to get a new OS for my poor laptop.

Good spotting! Although considering the vague mindset and lack of direction I seemed to be working with when I drew this, anything could have happened. I think the mystery of why she looks so unimpressed has been solved - "you drew me wrong! Do you think my date will notice?"

Judging from her expression, the boyfriend would rather play Nintendo than see what adventures can be had with her. A pity, she looks like she'd submit to any whim he had in bed....
