I really wish we could afford to buy like a 100 unites ourselves, would make things so much easier but as it is it comes down to how many people are interested whether or not we can lower it unfortunately. :/

Lapped seams for added strength
Single chamber design

Size #3 valve (The prototype has a Boston valve, will be #3 on customer copies)

It was made slightly smaller intentionally since there's plenty of huge things around and not everyone has that much space to spare, I have tried it on water and it was easily ride-able and surprisingly stable for the size, I have a pretty small physique though overall so may vary for others.
Although I'm not aware of any other custom toys having been offered to this degree of detail level, I'm assuming you are referring to that you could get multiple large-ish (such as IW) toys for the same price which is an understandable argument, I'm not too happy about the high price myself but we are trying to find a financing solution to over-order and lower the prices for everyone. If that works out we may be able to cut at least 200 off of it, or at least I'm hoping so. ^^
I'll probably post announcements if our price reduction plans are successful.
