I was bored, and the power went out... so I took a picture of the inside of my mouth to reference off of and draw... (I have a laptop, so it stayed working for about 45mins)
I heavily referenced in quick details, then closed the picture.
From there I just drew (without referencing canine or feline mouths.. which I should've referenced..).
Kept adding detail and shading and changing things to make it more animalistic... I know its not the best... but I had fun doodling it!

Please ignore my gross teeeeef.... they is gross... HAHAHAHA I HAS BUCK TEETH!!!
Drawing © Stephanie "Sketchy" Reiss
P.S. I just noticed that the big tooth on the right isn't big enough.. either that or the one on the left is too big...
The more I look at this the more I hate it... I am putting it into scraps..

Entirely welcome, don't often see mouthes drawn this well, especially with such little referance, you even got the back of the throat too palate angle nicely set, since most people have the uvula in full view and the throat exposed when doing this kind of angle, which doesnt actually happen [as your photo showed]
Granted, nout wrong with those too

I know what you mean.. That was one of the reasons why I took a picture to reference from. I have a tendency to draw the uvula in full view when it shouldn't be, and the structure kind of goes wonky...
Next time I am going to reference from animal pictures as well to get the structure a little more accurate.
