Woo summer's here! Finally, done with school, got a bit of time before jobs start, and with a little bit of savings, time to hit the beach! Because North Carolina's coast is pretty like that. :3 Of course, in my fursona's case, it's a bit of time before the newest babies come, instead. <3
Here Dixie takes a sitting break on her way from the car to the waterfront - a little too far for the expectant mother to waddle in one go. The distance is worth it though, even if it takes a little while! There's nothing more relaxing to a weary head than the sound of the ocean, nothing more relieving to swollen feet than walking barefoot in the sand, and nothing better for resting a big heavy belly on than sideways on a beach towel with a great view of the horizon, the seagulls and the other happy beach-goers, and the body-conforming sand beneath providing all the support one could want. It's just a great day all over. :D
