Backstory: Left on the doorstep of the Underwing Orphanage as a mere cub, Turbo grew up without any clear memories of his past, not even knowing his last name. As he grew up, he was somewhat introverted, and tinkering became his outlet. As he grew older, he took on a job as the handyman around the orphanage, fixing leaks and creaks that had troubled the worthy Underwings for a long time. When he turned 18, he received a red Chao egg as a birthday gift, and it was determined that he should go out into the world and seek his fortune. He first came to Station Square, recently repairing the damages from the onslaught of Chaos, and met Cherry and Jerry, the patrons of the local bakery, who helped him to take on a home in the quiet Mystic Ruins, where he lives in peace…
When chance threw him in the path of his estranged sister, Audrey, Turbo's history was revealed to him. He is Turbo Vulpe, the oldest son of Carmella Vulpe, a strong-willed vixen who had lived in defiance of the growing power of Dr. Eggman. Unfortunately, she was forced to leave Turbo in hiding at an orphanage as a baby, unaware that she would give birth to Audrey in hiding. Turbo is given the assurance that, once Eggman is finally no longer a threat, it will be safe for Carmella to join them.
