Backstory: Mocha grew up in humble conditions with her parents and grandmother, the latter bearing a book of the family’s ancestral recipes, including one for an excellent coffee. Inspired both by this book, as well as (invalidated) guilt that she had eaten her family into lesser conditions, Mocha decided to start a business of her own as a bariste, and at the age of 22, opened a modest coffee house in Station Square, which soon expanded into a cozy little cafe. She sends a good chunk of the profits back home to her folks, and shares a healthy rivalry with Cherry at her bakery, though the two are truly good friends.
