Zai Shijin is an alien assassin who was recruited into Helixx Foundation's private military police and charged with guarding executives from around the company. She later attached to my human character, but ended up leaving him under a misunderstanding. Sometime after the two books she meets up with my character and have thus become on and off again friend.
For me, I wanted a relationship with the character that sort of parodied Batman and Catwomen, just without the romance.
