Today, my best friends’ dog Carl was put down. He was a big sweety whom I have known since my elementary school days. Carl lived to the age of 15, which is very impressive for a dog his size. My mom, sister & I went to see his family tonight to keep them company & apply comfort. I made a memory box for him. Inside are dog cookies & hand written notes. Genny was very thankful for it & having us there to comfort her family in this time of sadness.
Be at peace sweet, Carl. I'm happy you were a big part of our lives. I hope that you & Danny are playing together & will look after all of us forever.
