I cleaned up all the electronics, so if it doesn't have anything to do with making her run its not there cept the head light and turn signals for now but they shall be gone soon too except for the head light I do use that, I do run it with out a battery and I removed the heavy shocks and put hard tail struts on her and light straight pipe.
I have shaved dam near 50 pounds off this bike or more because its amazing how quickly stuff adds up if It still had the bags on it that would be more weight off.
Ill be making a really light fiber glass seat fender combo and I also have a new performace exausht ill be adding if it saves weight or adds more power.

You would not believe how many people who ride my bike want it, its got amazing power for a 500 and sounds so much like a Harley that the dude down the street who owns a Harley shop gets pissed at me because of it.
I also piss off a lot of random Harley owners aka my co workers haha and all I had to do was take off the h pipe and mufflers but that also gave it more high end power but cut down on my low end torque but after I make new headers and install the new exhaust it should run better through the range and make it more track ready.
I'm also considering boring it out to a 720 because any more then that and I will lose the integrity of the cylinder walls and not have enough room for the cooling system to work efficiently in race conditions but it will be normally aspirated still

Honda made a dirt track version of the cx500 that was bored to 720cc and set up in the way of a traditional v twin, and it just looks bad ass but it works and that's were im going with my project if I set it up right I could use a baker six speed or another separate tranny made for racing
