FAQ
Q: Why the difference in price between painted and thin lines?
A: I spend largely more time refining painting lines than I do thin/neat lines.
Q: How do you price your work?
A: I price based upon my minimum estimate of time I will spend on each piece. I work hourly beyond the minimum price listed.
Q: How will prices change in accordance to the listed price?
A: It depends on what I’m drawing, a naked person would be faster to draw than, say, someone in full-blown plate armor with details.
Q: Why do you charge so much?
A: I do this for a living, not for fun. It’s my chosen career. ;)
Q: In that case, why so cheap, then?
A: I do commissions casually in my free time for extra money. I work full-time as an artist at a game company. I consider these hobby prices, if you want professional prices, I will happily give you an hourly quote.
Q: What payment methods do you take?
A: Paypal, and e-check. I prefer the former to the latter as e-checks have processing time. I will occasionally barter for goods in return, but it is a rare case. Taking me money allows me to offer a refund in case things go awry.
Q: Paypal has a fee, do I pay it?
A: Yes, you will pay the fee, I will not take less than the minimum asked price. Tips are, however, appreciated. ;D
Q: Do you take payment in increments?
A: If the lump sum is in the hundreds, I can take a downpayment, but generally, no, I take full payment upfront. I like to finish my work in one sitting if I can. If I accept a downpayment, I will check in with watermarked WIPs along the way until the full price is paid off.
Q: Can we have revisions?
A: First minor revision is free, if it is too complicated a change, or you want another revision I will charge. This is why I require PHOTO REFERENCES, I don’t want to waste your time or money.
Q: I don’t have photo references or drawings. :(
A: I accept attempts at descriptive collage using google-fu and MS paint.
Q: Do you Livestream your commissions?
A: Yes, I do livestream them, so I can have a more accurate time-readout and see how long I have spent on each. If you don’t want your commission streamed publicly, I won’t announce it and keep it private.
Q: Do you have a Livestream schedule?
A: No, I do not have a regular schedule for streaming, I generally stream in the evenings on weekdays, and during the day on weekends if I am home. If you’d like to watch a session at a particular time, I can try to work something out with you. (Timezone PST)
Q: Do you… draw porn? Anything?! :Q
A: Yes, but it’s better to say what I won’t draw: scat, vomit, piss. I’m pretty detached about my work so I don’t really mind “anything.”
