Well first off don't use all circles for every joints.
The hips should be a trapezoid/triangle/rectangle depending on the characters body type.
Do some stick figures to practice different shape combinations.
Legs and arms are also dependent on body type.
Also male and female shapes are way different, males are mostly square with some triangles. women are circles with some squares.
The joint in the shoulder should sit partially inside the rectangle of the chest, same with the hips since they are ball joints.
You have a good start here, your on the right track.
I'm only good with girls so i'm not much help.
But i'm in the same boat as you.
I can draw anthro but suck at feral.

Nono, that's great. Especially knowing now that the shoulders and hips should sit inwards a bit. I can see how that would look better just by imagining it.
I'm far better at drawing males, personally, I think. Females are like you said, very different anatomically, and I guess I just like drawing rigid lines better than circular shapes, aha.
