I did fan-art of my all time favorite band, Steam Powered Giraffe. This is a (crappy) colored sketch of Rabbit, one of the lead robots from the band.
I do and don't like this sketch. I like it, cause I felt I put a lot of detail work into it, and got a lot of his features right. However, I dislike it, cause, for one, I made his hat WAY too small, and that's bugging the hell out of me! xD I also screwed up around his face too, as I used several different refs for this pic, and I didn't get them blended quite right.
I am forced to say, I am proud of this piece, as it IS my first attempt at a more human character, and I felt that I got some things right that I've been failing on. I'm also proud of the fact that I got the body to look fairly good just by eye-balling it, and not by using a lot of proportions. ^^

And yes, I know, I should be working on trades and freebies, but I'm feeling like experimenting with my art a little first, then trying out what I learned on my freebies and trades. So if you're waiting for something from me, that's what's taking so long, and why you're seeing me posting art that's not related to those things. xD Though, I do have some of the freebies started! ^^

Thanks. I can see some MAJOR flaws with it (*coughthehat'stoosmallcough* xD), but I like it just the same. ^^
You definitely should check out Steam Powered Giraffe, they're awesome! They have a great act, great music, and just great talent in general!

I've just finished my second semester at college, moved into my family's new house, started searching for a job or two myself, and gotten absolutely addicted to this game called World of Warplanes. Think World of Tanks (it's done by the same people), but with fighter planes!
