I've mostly been on the fringes of the Sonic fandom for awhile (not from lack of desire, mostly lack of time and money), but I heard about how a lot of characters I grew up loving will get pulled from the series (or are in danger of it) thanks to Penders' lawsuit.
Julie-su was a fucking amazing character. So many of the ArchieSonic women were amazing and great rolemodels and I'm happy I was able to grow up with them. I hope this whole silly thing gets resolved but I fear that by the time it does, these chars will be forgotten. Oh, the joys of growing old. :P

After I posted that comment, I looked up the who thing that's been going on. Not sure if I want to be mad at Ken or Archie for the whole thing. I really-really hope she comes back, but then I remind myself I haven't read an issue of the Sonic comics in.. uh.. at least 3 years now?
Yeah same. I don't want to point fingers because I think all parties have valid points. I have wanted to get back into reading the comics but I haven't had the time/money really. I picked up a few issues not too long ago and they're cute but XD I think it might be time to admit that I'm 30 and they really aren't that entertaining for me anymore.
You could always pick up the uh.. graphic novel versions. You know; when they print a crap ton of them in one book? Unless they stopped doing that. I thought if I ever got some extra monies, I might do that.

Yep, they still do the graphic novels! A subscription is a little more pricey than I remember, though. And it's like, if I'm gonna invest money in something, maybe I'd rather it be in something a friend made. You know? When I get extra dough I try to spend it on something like that instead.
