I'm positive at this point, there are people that are doing this on purpose to restart the drama. Because, you know, they definitely don't have anything better to do... like watch TV or something.

It's not even the show! It's a standalone, one-off, spinoff movie. It's not even going to affect the show!

Well, it is certainly sad to see a favorite show drop in quality. My point is that I'm confident that's not going to happen in this case.

The thing is that many people fear that Hasbro will cram more crap like EQG or Alicorn Twi down their throats unless they give a big enough backlash. I personally hate Equestria Girls with a passion. it is a stillborn idea due to executive meddling, polar opposite to Lauren Fausts vision, and will endanger the main show as soon as it inevidaily crashes and burns.

Well, to their credit, I have been going around and duct taping people to chairs and forcing them to watch it on loop...

From the trailer it looks like the kinds of crap I expected MLP:FiM to be until I watched it.

I'll pass. If this be the beginning of the end of FiM, well, the show had a good run. Most will look to the first few seasons and still smile, but the newer stuff....

regardless, the show itself pleasantly surprised me, when i finally decided to get a few bronies on a tf2 server off my back by watching an episode to say i did. Watched it on a break at work....i started with the episode 1, it being a two parter, i hate leaving a story unfinished, so i watched episode two.....Then I watched three,4,5,6,7 and so on.

My point being, it looks crummy, but any brony will tell you pre-brony that they probably thought the same about the show before seeing it. So there's hope.

More or less how I got hooked. I was thinking G1-3 ad infinitum... and was pleasantly surprised otherwise.

There are some things that must be seen, not because they are good, but to see just how bad they are.

I won't be wasting the cost of a movie ticket on it tho, that's for sure.

Although I will try to give a chance to that movie, I think everyne can have an oppinion and, if asked, say it. Of course, in a moderate and thoughtful way....

At the beginning I was sceptically, after reading that the same staff is doing the movie (and the trailer), I change my mind, I will try to watch it (sadly I don't live in USA), maybe I'm not completely sure about the plot (and I could like a few changes in the characters general design) but I am sure I will at least enjoy the movie.

I've decided to watch it, if it gets a good review...if not, then I'll consider to slip by my eyes/ears. However...Hasbro managed to give me really good entertainment nowadays, so I'm ready to be blown away once again. I dare them to fail entertaining me, and they shall feel my wrath...
