I imagine she was very timid and shy, and was pretty much ousted and forgotten. She passed quietly, and eventually began to degrade as they do. However, taken pity upon by the spirits in her realm, she was given rebirth, but as an earth spirit. She's now very enchanting and has the endearment of anyone who lays eyes on her, but is just always out of reach and doesn't usually give more than a glimpse of herself. She's elusive, mysterious, and the subject of many folklore. She's not judgmental or malicious, but does take enjoyment out of the love she'll now receive for eternity. Very pure. Her job is to roam the earth and give new life to areas that have been industrialized and otherwise ruined.

As an earth spirit, she is undying. Kind of between the world of life and death. She's solid, but nothing will hurt her. Animals are drawn to her as well and often times burrow up into her because, you know, she's a walking flower pot and aviary.
