why the heck would they abandon something like that?

Abandoned buildings are the best, yet you must be risky to enter them as a photographer.
I love photographs of abandoned buildings or sewer tunnels (London's sewers especially)! Most things left behind in the buildings look so untouched and beautiful that it catches your attention of just how old the place really is. Every crack is just another brick i- oh wait... -ponders- every dusty, rusted or cracked object in an abandoned building is just another picture waiting to be taken!
