well perhaps as you (gem) were a baby you cant re-learn what you never learn-ed in the firsties..
where as if it was a adult getting grown down and then grown up again...
like maybe the sticker deposits the knowledge where knowledge is stored before you learned it, and so it can bring it back?
*brainfrizzles as she trys to work out the logic.*

Oo that makes magic sense in some way so that's all it really needs :)
This is a funny series, and everything is wonderfully cute, and cute makes me happy. Ooo what would have happened if she had put the sticker on Grub? Would Grub have turned into a girl Grub and gotten bigger? What would a girl Grub look like? The same only with eyelashes? *giggles* Maybe his colors would change? Maybe there wouldn't be any change because he's immune to stickers?

That was sort of anticlimatic. Get age regressed and someone will be there to take care of you. Age progressed on the other hand, means it's gonna be difficult to explain to not only Gem's parents, but to her carers and friends as well. Saffy skunk would give anything for one of these stickers if it's potent enough to counter the FOY water she drank.
I don't know about that, a lot of regression pics involve characters being regressed when they're by themselves or surrounded by other babies with no responsible adults around to take care of them.
I know it's meant to be cute (and it is), but I always find it just a bit disturbing too...

Mustrum Ridcully: "STIBBONS!!!"
Ponder Stibbons: "Yes, Arch-Chancellor?"
Ridcully: "What's all this nonsense about decals that turn folks into babies and babies into adults?"
Ponder: *sighs* "I'll get right on it, Arch-Chancellor."
See, Gem? You're just makin' more work for the wizards at Unseen University. >w> When, as we all know, the REAL purpose of a wizarding-school is to keep wizards fat and happy and away from doing nasty things like hurling fireballs and lightning-bolts and turning cities into parking-lots.

<LoL!> Yeah, I'd say so. :)
"Where's my little...."
*Pauses as she sees a grown squirrel with her daughter's toy*
"HEY!" Momma' squirrel cries as she nearly tackles the adult squirrel with her daughter's toy. "WHERE'S MY DAUGHTER!"
*Adult Gem starts crying*
"Momma' mad at me!" she'd sob. "No wanna' time out! No, no!"
