Mel is a character from a story he's been writing since he was in middle school. He plans on publishing his book, and I wish him the best of luck, and hope it gets the recognition it deserves.

So, Mel is an anthro unicorn, that has a "cat" fetish. She dresses up in cat furs; fake cat ears, paws, and matching furs, just about all the time. She wears simple cat furs while she's not performing on stage, and will wear "lioness" and "snow leopard" outfits while she's on stage. She's considered "uniquely weird" by the rest of her anthro unicorn kind...but Laiminar likes it that way, lol. [/copyPasta]

In this particular composition, Mel is performing a disco song, and is aiming it directly at Laiminar. She picks him out of the audience, sings the song to him...

Updated comment from 2013: Now that I look back at this concept, I think the disco influence has to do with irl Laiminar's music tastes. I catch him listening to the Bee Gees a lot... there's a song in particular that he imagines Mel singing. <____<
