This is a Black Viper (Vipera Berus) that I saw today, while out geocaching. Very difficult to get a good photo, sadly, as he/she was moving quite quickly.

I hear about geocaching all the time. Have no idea what it is other than the brief description I get looking it up.

It is good fun to do in nice company. One gets hints where the treasure might be hidden, but they are sometimes very difficult to find. A lot of geocaching-treasures are hidden in scenic spots, that one would never have found otherwise.

One species that's sadly missing from here ... I think I'd like to get to know snakes. Fascinating critters. Thanks for sharing the image!

I always get happy whenever I see a snake. All snakes are endangered here in Sweden. I find them very beautiful in their own special way. Thank you for the comment! :)
