-Before the comic-
“Do we really have to do this?” Blackburn asked the german shepherd pulling him excitedly across the mall. “We could just get a camera and do it ourselves.”
Alden smiled. “Yeah, but this will be more fun. Trust me.”
“Famous last words.” the wolf chuckled.
“Yeah yeah. Heh. Oh! We're here!” Alden stopped in front of an old photo booth. “It may look a bit beat up, but it works just fine. It'll be fun! My treat.” He smiled as he pulled out a few quarters, only to see his boyfriend looking the other direction. “Is everything ok?”
Blackburn turned back around with a grin on his face. “Of course it's next to the food court. How else would you know about this!” He laughed while his boyfriend gave him a chuckle and a roll of the eyes.
“Just get in there!” Alden smiled, lightly pushing Blackburn into the booth.
“Ok ok! I'm going! Heheh.”
“Right. So get ready,” Alden said, putting the coins in, “because here we go.”
-First panel-
“Um...alright.” Blackburn said, a bit lost as to what to do.
“Oh come on. Don't look so serious.”
-Second panel-
“Like this?”
“Yeah!” Alden cheered, “That's better. Heh.”
-Third panel-
“Ok, I think that's enough for now. Heheh.”
“Aw, what? But it's not done!”
“This is kind of embarrassing, sweetie.”
“You're doing just fine.”
-Forth panel-
“You just need to smile more. Like this.” The dog reached into the booth and pulled Blackburn's cheeks apart before chuckling and holding them there as the booth took another picture.
“Eh...”
-Fifth panel-
“See? I'm sure that will be a good one.” Still chuckling, Alden started to pull back, but Blackburn grabbed his arm.
“And where do you think you're going? Get in here!”
-Sixth panel-
“Gah!” The horned shepherd yelled as he was pulled back in and put into a headlock. “Haha! Alright, alright! Heheheh. Now watch how a pro does it.”
Blackburn laughed. “Yeah yeah, you bum.”
-The next day-
“That'll be six dollars, sir.” The cashier told Blackburn, who looked back at him with a bit of an annoyed look.
“What? Six dollars? Just for this?!” He hadn't had the best day and was trying to just get home. Some demons were more uncooperative then usual.
“I-I'm sorry sir. I don't make the prices.”
Blackburn gave a small sigh. “I'm sorry. I've been having a really bad day.” He took out his wallet to get the money. What he saw, in front of his cash, was the last three pictures he had taken with Alden the day before. His boyfriend must have snuck them into his wallet the night before.
Blackburn couldn't help but smile.
I admit I'm not too fond of the ending, but I wanted to put that last bit in there.
Anyway, a lovely comic of me and
literary_wolf in a photo booth. (at least that's how I see it. XD )
