Comish for
Drakonus of his awesome dragon, Drakonus! With...me! :D
I did an icon for Drakonus, so it was awesome to work on him again, especially in a piece like this - I had a blast! It turned out a lot more graphic and visual and overall fiery than I had imagined, and I'm really glad I did. Originally I was going to go for really, really dark, but that would have sacrificed a lot of texture and details. :0 So I went for, like, a mid-battle scene!
Pose and clothing specifically requested by Drakonus, using refs of photos he took himself! And, like me, he's using his own rifle! But that is NOT an Ak! X) It's a CZ-858 - so they're cousins, but have different mechs.
And this was such an awesome fighter scene, I had to make an appearance in there. :D Drakonus scouts out ahead, while I'm keeping an eye out for any attacks from the side or rear... (I might high-tail it outta there if Drakonus wants it to be a solo mission. X) )
