and then you get the overenthusiastic colors that paint everything else in the load.
I saw someone put a dark-red terrycloth bathrobe in with a bunch of other clothes one time...
apparently the robe had never been pre-washed, so all the dye was still in its fibers.
it turned everything else pink before he realized what was going on. :P
