I had the best dream last weekend! I dreamed I was a salmon-cuddling bear...no wait, wrong dream.
First I found myself spreading Friday fun and feesh with the wonderful denizens of Portland, Oregon, both furry and non-furry. I made friends with two kids in a hotel lobby and gave them buttons and they wore them all weekend! Then I was at a party, and I shook my rudder on the dance floor. And I got to meet
SokiTwoPaw!
Then all of the sudden I was no longer in the Pacific Northwest, but in the dusty desert of Nevada! I was lured by the bright lights and promise of all-you-can-eat sushi to the city of Las Vegas. The casinos weren't very friendly to otters so I stayed hidden at first. But then I was in a limo with
DancingDuke and more than a dozen other crazy characters roaming the strip as the sun went down, with
reccasenli keeping watch over us.
We got photos at the famous "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign, and then to the Fremont Street Experience just in time for the hourly Viva Vision show, where they stop traffic and the biggest big screen display above the street belted out some rocking songs and video. As Bon Jovi sang, "It's My Life, It's Now Or Never," it felt good living the life of a silly otter, wiggling through crazy adventures and meeting lots of friends and eatin all the feesh and giving out all the hugs.
The dream is now fading fast behind me, leaving me with my thoughts. One particular thought comes to mind:
Be careful tweeting your room number. You never know WHO might show up!

Mystery!! I was thrilled to see you, as always. I'm glad you could come on the limo ride! When our limo stopped at Freemont Steet, Bon Jovi was playing Livin' On A Prayer! I can't wait for you to see the video! I wish the two limos would have stayed together so I could have seen you more, but I was happy to get as many otter hugs as I did! Keep on rockin' in the free world, my ottery friend. :]
