A sketchy thing that I did a while ago for the gorgeous
fleisch , who, as I've just found out, had decided to leave our little cybersandbox for time indefinite.
She is a very interesting person, cool artist and a deep thinker, and although her departure from this site doesn't mean she's lost for us all or anything, it's still a chief communication medium shut down, so let it a be a parting gift in case she'd be hard to get in touch with.
And hey - it's never one scribble too many, right ? ;3

Glad you liked it, even though I paid this pic all attention I could spare at the moment, and still wound up taking several liberties with the character design despite having the reference sheet right in front of me, and my technical flaws are still devastatingly obvious v.v
Zuckerdachsmandias is quite a challenge to do justice to - especially when your red pencils keep snapping in friggin' half - but I did try hard.
Oh wait, that's why the pencil broke - I tried too hard !
Agility and precision, not brute strength - I've gotta write it down somewhere...
Thanks for the kind words, anyway !
The original would be yours tomorrow if I weren't so insecure and ignorant about mail operations in general and trans-Atlantic shipment in particular.
I might look into possible delivery options, though. And I think taking money for a gift drawing is odd 0.o

Well, if it's alright by you, I'm content.
In my perverted mind, gift is a self-imposing and self-containing concept - to create something for the enjoyment of the unwitting recepient means to oblige oneself to make sure that the ultimate result - the joy of a recepient - is achieved. Taxing the one who didn't specifically ask for a gift with covering any of said gift's expenses would be highly inappropriate.
The term "expenses" in this particular case includes both the financial and logistical aspects of giftcraft. Therefore, all steps of producing, processing, insuring and shipping of a gift must be an exclusive responsibility of a gift maker in order for all inconveniences on gift recepient's part to be abolished.

Thank you ! Can't say I'm thoroughly happy with everything about it, though. The background was the relatively successful experiment with color blending. It would really help matters if I actually learned how to do a decent background and wouldn't go along with any crazy idea that crosses my mind on that issue. Focused practice is good 0.0

Oh, it's alright - I definitely can relate to being slow reacting to different happenings on the Net, especially after a long absense.
Each and every token of your attention is greatly appreciated, thanks !
