Moomin was pretty much my entire childhood, I still love it and watch it from time to time.

Now the Groke is responsible for a number of fair number of nightmares during my childhood. However since I read "Moominpappa at Sea" I've come to petty her, this poor cold, lonely thing that wanders around and only wants warmth and friendship.

I listened to this song the other night which is pretty much a character piece about the Groke and I just had to paint a picture of her.

The video itself is about making a Groke icon. The song is in Swedish and is called "Mårrans mummelsång" roughly translated it's something like the Grokes murmur or humming song. It is about how everyone pretty much loathes her and no body wants to be her friends so she wander around at night and sings (more of a mumbling or humming song). If anyone's interested I might try and translate it.
