This piece was done for the cover art of my Eighth music album for my mate, Speedocub, and was given to commemorate our one year anniversary. This is probably my favorite album to date, as I was very fortunate to stumble upon a little song called ‘The Conquering Lion’, which is a really beautiful ballad that had me in tears the first few times I listened to it. That song eventually inspired this image, and I based simbas garb and weaponry on the clothing worn by the Spartans in ‘300’ (obviously.) It was painted by hand with water colors, and Simba took a few screen captures from the movie, and edited it to place it upon an actual background from the film. It’s probably my favorite cover I’ve done to date, as well as the most unique.

Anyway, hope you guys enjoy it, and as well here’s the title tracks upon thecompilation. Just a reminder, it is the 8th album, so at this point I’m taking a lot of songs from memory of popular 80’s hits, heh.
