looks fine to my eye. i hate doing hair too, but looks like you pulled it off. i make hair look scruffy dirty and matted all the time cuz it's easier

bah, don't mirror it, Iknow it's a "great way to check stuff" but it's not something that should always be done. Somethings you do with one side of the body that you don't with the other side.

That is beautiful. You captured in her a thoughtful intelect that makes her seem very real. I have tried to get that look with felines, and failed. Actually I haven't seen anyone get that, "Presents" or whatever you did. It works well.
Oh BTW. That mirror thing does not always work. I've put 3D modeled pictures to the mirror on a perspective view such as your cat girl, and they didn't look right. And 3D models are mathmatically perfect symetry. Go fig. The human eye, is not perfect. Again, Great work.

The hair looks great! Me likes the eye as well.

There may be something off with the elevation or foreshortening of her eyes that makes her seem a bit sleepy, but even then I have difficulty spotting anything noticeably wrong with this. I'm glad you do this kind of detailed realistic work, there isn't enough of it.

I do like this :) I've been needing some work on doing hair myself =\ Might I ask what sort of program Painter is? I've only ever heard of it. never seen it used.

It's an art program that emulates real media. It's really only useful if you're actually experienced in real media. I'm still learning to use it.

You don't suck at drawing hair at all. Those strands are very shiny. He's/she's got a gorgeous face too. I tend to draw my males with girly eyelashes, so I'm not sure. :)

Your faces are as I have stated before, exellent. Allthough the eye aling. On this one does seem a tad off. -shrugs- possibly effect. Now onto the hair

-looks and mutters I wish I had a bigger screen so I can see both the comment and the hair at the same time so please forgive If I got a bit off on parts-

The only thing that I can see that bothes me is the hair line in the front. Unless she has a massive widows peak with super thick hair, then its fine. You got the basic reflections correct but with that type of a hair style you might want to possbly consider laying down a layer of 6hb or something about 1/2 down. even though it does curl under and there is reflection there will be a darkers shade to it in contrast to the top. This could be a fault to the scanner? The shine patch mid way seems a bit to centerd, try to move it up and make it a bit smaller, maybe 1/3 that size. Atleast for the main highlight. Other then that it is excellent and you dont suck at hair. Just keep at it you have a firm grasp on weight and volume with it, now just fix those mninor little things and youll be a hair GOD! -bows-
