Feeling undeniably irked earlier today, I went on my way to English 101. I must say, nothing quite douses a bad feeling like some angry-inspired drawing, filling a page with rant around aforementioned drawing, and some Enya on the ol' iPod. And no, the writing isn't supposed to be decipherable, I made sure of that.
This outfit, if some might notice, could very well be accused of being inspired by Squall Leonhart from Final Fantasy VIII. Black leather jacket, criss-cross belts, and a lion motif.
Anyway, that's me lookin' angry, and it's probably one of the first times I've really attempted a scornful, bitter look. Essentially, there seems to be a sudden rash albeit continuing rash of themes in artwork recently, and I'm debating if I should yell about it or remain silent, like I have been. Mind, this is a might trivial subject to get one's veins in a knot over, but regardless, it just rubs me the wrong way. I've been quiet about it for many months now (save for one journal which shall remain nameless) and have even stopped watching the user whom seems to be the center around this "rash". However, despite my passive efforts to ignore said irking, I find myself unable to escape, for many of the artists I watch seem to involve themselves - if only for one or two pieces - in the rash.
I'm getting sick and tired of it, but for the sake of my own sanity and friends, I will remain mute of the specifics (not wishing to repeat the foopah that was the unnamed journal...). In actuality, the originally planned piece of art featured me gunning down the personification of the subject of the rash.
I post this because I like how the sketch looks. :3
