Recently, I have hated or mostly hated every furry painting I've tried to make. Since I can only take so much disappointment in a row, I decided to make a quick-ish painting of something I'm actually good at. So, sorry guys, that means a human.
I think I'm just in a rut. Hope to get out soon.
This took about 5 and a half hours.

You are that rare furry artist (if you don’t mind me calling you that) who knows how to paint/draw a human face. Too many others embrace furry or fantasy art since there is no real criteria for the viewer to measure whether the artist hit the mark or missed.
Your work, and particularly this gentleman here, definitely looks “real” as many of your commentors (the ultimate judges of any artist's work) have remarked.

Yeah, I don't consider myself a 'furry artist'. I'm a figurative artist that's primary focus is human and in traditional media (almost nothing that I post here). I kinda got into drawing furries by accident and digital painting as a result of that.
Digital painting is a valuable skill though, so I certainly don't mind the practice, as I continue to get better at it.
