Very very sad the events, and losing a meet place may be minor but it can hit home. Good can come from it though, why not make the next meet going out and helping the people in the area? Clean ups, rebuilding, kids love fursuiters too. In sad times like these, we can help in ways that seem small, but mean the world to others. There will always be bowling alleys, but the people you help will never forget it.

It's hard to find people who are both able and willing. Also the area is currently not only dangerous but also it's blocked off from any non-resident people.

where will the next furbowl meet be located now?

I'm gonna miss the place. There weren't too many safe spots once that thing got goin.

A half mile wide and at times moving only 25 mph, that's over two minutes of tornadic grinder on one spot. I can't think of many structures that can stand up to that kind of punishment.

It got up to two and a quarter miles wide at one point with almost a five mile ball of flying debris around it. Hope all the kids that were trapped in the elementary school are okay...

Holy shit that's insane

It seems like it might have been on the edge of the tornado or it was already starting to weaken, other areas were scoured clear to the mud.

It was on a slideshow and I just thought, "Holy crap, that's the Moore furbowl alley!"

I will miss that place.

Maybe they'll rebuild, it's an opportunity for them to fix the ball returns that didn't quite return the balls and the pin setters that forgot to set a pin or two.

I have all of the OKC furrs in mind and I hope everyone is safe and including there family and friends but right now I am a worried wolfe cause I would hate to loose more friends cause I just lost to of them about 3-5 years ago and another one about the same time and both lived in AL. If possible please keep my up to date or should I say keep me in the loop thank you very much and I miss all of you.

It seems everyone came through the storm safely, no one was harmed and only some property was lost.

Mother Nature reminds us who's really in charge of the planet. It's just unfortunate when she does this, some times it impacts our lives the way it does. But considering the magnitude of the storm's strength and size, it's incredible more were not hurt or killed. Poor Moore has gone through this madness 3 times in like 14 years, and they will rebuild as they always have.

Well, I'm sure it's happy now, it was thrown harder and further than any boomerang has ever been thrown.

I think if and we have another furbowl or event, we should do a fund raiser to help Misora and her mom out. They have continuously open their home to us over an over ... I would like to see if the furs could get together and do something for them.

That's an excellent idea, one that's been tossed around a few times now. Just need someone to step up and organize the event so we all know where to go and what to do in order to help.
