This was one of the first ever Lego sets I built using MLCAD. Being new to the program, I was naturally a complete novice when I created this little guy. It took me over 5 hours to figure out how to correctly place the bricks, and even then I was unsure on how to correctly display it in LDView. Suffice to say, that with the knowledge I have now, I would divide the set into multi-parts to allow for a greater range of pose-ability for the wings and the control console.

For the curious, this is the 1462 "Galactic Scout" from Lego's Space's sub-series "Blacktron Future Generation." It belonged to the "bad guys" of the series, a faction known as the "Blacktron." Like all early Lego series, the "Blacktron Future Generation" did not have a true history or setting. This forced builders - and players - to imagine their own back-story.
