If you think about the implication the first one is making, it is no different then saying "men are ruling the world, we have to do something about that". Like I said; the wording is a bit nicer, but its still a stupid implication especially since there is no supporting evidence for something such as patriarchy.
Can you name any examples? I know women can get portrayed in a sexist way in the media, but that is not exclusive to women.
I'm all for equality, but I can't for the live of me understand how any feminist can say that they are fighting for equality while focusing only on female gender issues. This is just one big contradiction.

Women get less severe punishments than men for the same crime.
Domestic violence against men is more tolerated than the other way around.
The overall image of men is always downplayed in popular media - watch any modern comedy to see how the woman is always portrayed as the snarky smart person, while the man is displayed as a dumb fuck that is just lucky to have her.
Male circumcision is also completely ignored, in contrast to female circumcision.
In short: men's issues are being ignored while women's rights are generally always preferred and discussed. Coming back to domestic violence: statistically men hit harder, but women hit men more frequently. Yet this is almost never discussed.

being a woman myself. i agree with you.
from my point of view the male tends to be more oppressed then the woman. and studies have shown males handle carreers better then women. im not saying there arent successful woman i consider myself successful, but males brains handle the stress of a job better then women do.
but back to my point.
i think there are valid points on both sides. there are women needing equality, and stength. but there are also a great deal of men being oppressed.

I know your comment is old as shit, but I just gotta tell you man, the way you handled yourself in the comments here is very admirable and I have a lot of respect for you. You blew them the fuck out and didn't slip up and get aggressive (like I would have, that's why I don't participate in discussions haha) so they could use it as an excuse to disregard your arguments.
I don't think the woman in the first panel is saying, "women first." I believe she's invoking the Patriarchy as a cause, or phenomenon, that has the same relation to history, economics and politics as the Devil.
Ask a few questions, and you'll end up at the same impasse: feminists admit Teh Ebil Patriarchy benefits some number of women, a number they insist is very low. Okay, sure, why not? It makes sense that some people would get a free ride on a supposedly binary, up-or-down social order. Life is messy.
But, no one has been able to add up the statistics of suffering to a full-on Patriarchy, just as many street crimes would fail to add up to a RICO charge (the US Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act): there's no there there.

I am pretty sure both sides are to blame for that though.
On the one hand sexist guys who fear about their position probably even see the "good" feminist the same way they see the "bad" and the "ugly" feminist.
On the other hand the "ugly" feminist actually does exist. And I see that as a massive problem for the feminist movement because it doesn't get your point accross. Equality is important but what those people are trying to spread is not equality. I am sure we all agree about that.
But I can actually relate to the "ugly" feminist much more than I can relate to the sexist guys that I mentioned. Their position may warp the idea of feminism but their position still has a valid background because men do oppress women.
The bottomline is... Humanity still has a lot of shit to sort out XD

It's expected considereing that those bottom two mostly describe those "Feminists" from Tumblr. I don't think they are even considered feminists. By definition, a faminist is someone who seeks equality in all aspects. The majority "Feminists" on Tumblr wish to rule above men and spout uneducated nonsense. It's shameful that people like them exist.
The comments that I have seen from them is pretty much something that makes you question if they even think. I have seen several "feminists" from Tumblr claiming that men cannot be raped and that all men are criminals. On top of that, I saw a group of them complaining about the true feminists trying to shed light on the situation of men being raped. The real feminists were being bombarded with insults on something that is trying to open the eyes of many. I have seen the very hostile kind of Tumblr feminists and they are not a pretty sight.
That's definitely not a good thing to see, and I cannot understand anyone trying to deny a specific gender/person from experiencing rape. I am fortunate to not have encountered that on Tumblr, but I am certain it's a small amount of them. I understand male privilege, but it in no way prevents men from being raped - that argument really cannot be argued logically unless perhaps they are referring to rape as a gender-specific abuse (which it isn't lol). Anger is understandable, but such an opinion about sexual abuse applied to all men is such a weird thing to argue.
*Cries tears of proudness* finally! i am so tired of feminazis i seen everywhere. this is true proper feminism like it should be!equality that wmen deserve same right like men and same amount of salary as a man meanwhile the feminists also point out men getting raped by womens isint taken as serious. i am glad isaw this post
I love the representation in this. Sadly people will only see us feminists as the pigly, "Man hating" femenazis. To me, Feminism is the fight to bring equal rights to every single gender. Not put one above the other. We will truly reach equality once females and every other gender receives equal pay, representation, rights, and once we don't have to walk the streets in groups for fear of being raped or worse. Every negative comment in these comments is why we need feminism. If only we could shut those deluded extremists up. Then, hopefully, we wouldn't have such negative views on feminism.
The reason people believe this is 'what feminism is about' is because the loudest are the bottom two. We don't see people who kindly help their fellow women and patiently educate those who are ignorant. Feminists are not evil by any means.
And I have seen the 'first type' on Tumblr PLENTY Of times, in fact, most people I follow are that way! Tumblr is a great place, but again, everywhere on the internet has a bunch of dicks who ruin things for everyone.

I'm all for equal rights for both genders, but when these belligerent feminiazis start degrading the living shit out of men for the sake of their own sanctity and girl-power pride, I struggle to find a reason not to have their eyes burnt with a hot poker. This is a very accurate, well presented representation of what true feminism is about, and although not a feminist myself I would love this to insitgate a learning curve for feminiazis to see what little tyrants they are.
May be old, but:
If a man hits a woman, she should call the police. If a woman hits a man, he should call the police. However, I'm all for self-defense if things escalate.
Don't hold open a door just for women, do it for anyone and everyone. Chivalry is dead, but common courtesy is not.

What place does feminism have in the western world. Women now have more rites than men. If feminists wanted equality like they say they do then they'd now be fighting more for mens rites than womens.
Instead they are deafeningly quiet on mens rites whilst shouting their mouths off about womens. Their not after equality at all. It is obvious to any logical thinking person that feminists want female supremacy.

"Deafeningly quiet" - an accurate descriptions of the supporters of tradition, "egalitarianism" and status quo. Feminists theoretically don't need to fight for men's rights since there are already Men's Rights Activists. It's not the fault of feminists that many MRA's would rather bitch endlessly about feminism and laugh at rape jokes instead of actually doing something for males.
Actually, the MRAs have a point. A lot the negative male stereotypes originate from women holding men to unrealistic standards and thereby embittering them. Claiming it's their fault for those stereotypes against them is not only an untrue assumption, but also a form of victim blaming. Perhaps you might want to consider taking a step back to think about what you're really saying with those kinds of statements.
I argued what my position was. I have hoped that we might discuss why we have different points of view. I do not carry an "anti" label, I do not subscribe to any movement. I am critical of feminism.
But you are only here telling me that I am basically spouting nonsense without arguing why I am wrong. The only thing I am getting from this is that I am wasting time here. I've got better stuff to do.

The first feminist is very egalitarian as I can see and she is definitely correct that it isn't a man's fault just due to their father oppressing the women. This actually happens in my family, and I know I am not a woman, but being called woman in this culture is like an insult.
The second one is very... politically oriented. That's all I can say. And her explanation is well defined, so naturally people will come to support her due to her "seemingly" educated explanation.
And for the third... well they just exist. And actually I remember someone told me to die for being male. Like seriously. That's not equality, it creating a power struggle which in the future might result for a movement called 'masculism' if women rise to power and oppress men.

This is super tone-policing lol. Let women hate men. Let women be mad at the system cis white men have created. Let women be fucking pissed that men fuck up a ton of opportunities for them and continue to uphold a horrible, degrading system that hurts them and ESPECIALLY women of colour.
Sincerely, a nonbinary AFAB person married to a cis man.

This is great. I think the hen is supposed to be "Big Red" (is that the right nickname?). I haven't had any real experiences with feminists, but enough from the internet where some of the first thoughts end up being negative. I know that not every single feminist is bad (on the contrary, almost all of them are good!), so I need to change my mindset. I have no hate for women and I don't see them as inferior. I think they are awesome peoples or furries or my hyperactive cat named Rowdy (all womens and mens of all species and races). I hope I didn't accidentally say anything offensive. Have a good day!
