After 3 years on FA, we have updated our icon to show better on first glance, what the group represents.

What do we represent, you may ask?
The Missouri's Furries group was formed in 2007 (on FA since 2010), as a way to bring Missouri furs together for friendship, fun, and charity fundraising.

Our mission being to bring the fandom together, here is what we do to make it happen:

* Advertise furry and fur-friendly events in the state of Missouri.

* Host two events each month somewhere in the state of Missouri.

* Encourage an environment free of negativity and drama, where furs of all ages can feel safe and comfortable while making and nurturing lifelong friendships within our wonderful furry family.

* Provide assistance to groups both new & old throughout the state, and to lend a helping paw to anyfur in Missouri who wants advice or help starting a group, or hosting an event closer to their own home.

* Attend events hosted by other Missouri furs when possible, as a way of supporting their efforts.

* Watch local furs so that we can spot event advertisements, then share the news to help get the word out.

No matter where you are, or how many furs there are in your area, if you want to host an event or create a local furmeet where there isn't one, we are happy to help you make it happen.

The more events Missouri furs have, the more fun there is for all, and that's pawesome!
