you can't play old consoles (like NES) in those new LCD screens...
=P

i can play these old consoles in a LCD, but certain addons, like the Zappergun dont works because needs the analog scanlines of a old Tv set.

we have an LED and when playing any NES game a weird line appears in the middle and sometimes it flashes... only the old TV works perfectly... but maybe it's only LED... xD

Because LCD TVs aren't cheap. Oh yeah, get some light gun action, which is only possible on CRT. Buuuut, don't expect HD, or even clear standard definition on an old CRT. It is pretty cool watching a VHS on an old CRT TV and seeing the scanlines. In fact, a lot of older games were designed with scanlines in mind. Play some Sega Genesis, and feel free to compare how the character sprites look on LCD compared with CRT or a scanline emulator....which I've actually considered getting for older games.

i still like the CRT, i have a crt in my room and i love see VHS in my crt, like the emperor´s new groove.
Well for Crt´s works, needs of scalines mainly, for do the colors and draw inside of the phosphor screen.
but i like the crt in certain things too :)

Oh we'll those kind of things really do happen and even though it is an older tv I am sure that it will work just fine and I do love the look of the piece so very nice work!
