Hey, it worked in the space I had... and it would be just our luck that the artist who created the statue would some lawsuit-happy a-hole... they didn't want to take their chances... the third one would of echoed/repeated what we had on the back cover with the whole coffeeshop thing. Now, if others had given me more content and thus more pages to be in the book, I would of had room for other work... I just had the one 1/4 page spot open by the time things were all said and done... I did what I could... but I work with the space i have... I needed last minute submissions... maybe next year... if I do the book.

Maybe next year, if I do it, I'll have more time to get art from people... and more room for art. We'll see.

i dont hold you to blame at all =3 honestly the "original artist" wouldn't have had a case anyway, you cannot copyright a pose! anyway we've had this banter before...no sense in bringing it back

yeah... I know... they were just unsure... so it was better to be safe for now. Maybe next year we can have a little more fun with the artwork.

I still think this would have been a better choice. Either way, it's a great piece!
