Poor Genius. The guy who tried to fix it said it was confirmed dead cause he couldn't repair the stupid 'cips' inside of pen.
Aww NGS...omg....Got it in 2007 XDD And it's still working, but sometimes does glitches. Unfortunately it's not compatible with Win 7 and Vista.

Oh! I have heard of the bamboo fun pen and touch, but not the Genius and the NGS. Maybe its because I like Wacom a lot and I hardly use other brands, but I cant get other brands if I already got my new tablet which is a Cintiq12wx and it was a pain to hook up. I don't want to go through it again just to test a new I never heard of before tablet. XC
Well Cause Wacom already beated other rivals, I think so XDD Though I'd really suggest you to avoid other brands which are not related to Wacom cause they're such poorly advanced. But if you're curious you could try google Cx Never hurt to know about these cheap craps. XD

It was all I could afford at the time, and I don't think the 13HD was released when I got mine.
But most of the problem is just the colors are a little off, you can just take the program your using (SAI for me) to your main monitor and see whats wrong with the colors, then take it back and fix it~
That is how I work 24/7 with that tablet without having to buy 200 dollars worth of stuff just to fix it or quickly upgrade to the 22HD. Sll the other versions of them are fine, just this lil' guy. That's just what I heard, but, at least I found the solution to the problem!

well, what i read about cintiq 12WX, you can't fix it but you can calibrate your screen for to have it correct. unfortunately, it will end up bad color stuff when people see it. however, cintiq 12HD don't have that problem plus you can carry anywhere :) and beside, the meaning of 13HD mean it's a 13" with the resolution of 1920x1080 ! which it's enough good for to work with. hope it will help you to choice it than other model :)
Too late, I already got the Cintiq12wx like four months ago.
I like it and I don't give a rats ass about the flaws about it or the resolution of it or any of the other versions. Its all I can afford at the time so I had to suck it up and choose that one. Besides, my desk isn't big, very small. this tablet fits well with everything else, and I love it.

That made me wonder as well. I once checked and saw at least 1-2 models. I love how they applied a series of symbols <3. Yeah I tried to install it on Vista and failed. =,=;
I don't know how they'd suck. My old tablet has survived these years lawl. And it can do smooth lines in SAI on old PC lawl.

Not at all~ I've had mine for several months with no problem c: Minus the fact my puppy chewed up my cord but that was easily replaced~
I did have the wireless thing but my computer got dropped and the USB attachment got crushed along with my computer screen frame but all is well -3-

I'm really happy, you got your tablet ! Really makes me happy, this news ! Sure that this will be helping for you in your diploma works. I have an old Trust tablet but this poor tablet is sometimes not working properly. Otherwise I really like your room, ( because I have no own room x P ). I always want an own room, with own working table and put to the walls nice pictures, and painting the walls with funny characters, animals. I don't know why, but when I see the artists working rooms , this makes me happy ! * Wish you good working *
