thanks!
i've come to the realization recently that i'm very obsessed with bold lines..
if i try another style with no line art, i either hate it or immediately add lines

Hm, I see what you mean. My sketch lines are messy to say the least, but when I see something in that mess that I like, I usually try to straighten them out to make it stand out more.
