At first when I saw the thumbnail I thought it was a photograph. It's absolutely beautifully painted. You really nailed the intensity of the light. I find that to be quite hard. :)

Frankly it's beautiful! You have catch how the shun goes through the forest. Very nice. Plus, the way you made the ground is quite original and we can see the difference between the clearing and the forest itself.

Yeah, I'm a fan of hiking :3 Unfortunately I'm overseas now, and while Scotland is nice, it doesn't really have much in the way of forests, haha.

The rain here is, for the most part, really really light. Nothing like on the west coast!

Well I'm from Belgium so I don't really know the west coast However, I know what you mean. In french it's called "la bruine", when the droplets are so thin that it looks like there are floating around.
