I can't use chopsticks at all. First time I tried sushi was with a good friend of mine about a month ago l, we sat down and he ordered for me. When the food finally came he gave me stuff to try first and started to serve himself, I looked around for a fork and found only chop sticks. When I couldn't use the chop sticks, even for stabbing, the next best thing was my hands.

I don't think I have ever seen him more embarrassed in his life, especially when I saw his face and started to laugh with a full mouth and hands full of sushi looking like I had some mental problem.

.....now I'm really craving sushi

From what I understand, using chopstick for sushi is an American thing. The Japanese eat sushi with their hands.
