If you've been following the Ismenara series at all, it's easy to see that a lot of the animals I create are parallels to earth animals.

This is a Svethosian Catcher, a cat-like critter that was domesticated from wild desert animals from Svethosdara. They are a little bigger than the house cats we know, with a similar temperament. However, Catchers tend to be overtly curious, and quite selective about who they bond with.

Their front talons are used as a quick catching tool--they hide in places, waiting for small pray to run by, and snatch them with the sharp, curved talons. These Catchers are pretty much always on the go, exploring and hunting. They are not a usual household pet, but rather accessories for the rich. Most of the Svethosdarian governement officials and wealthy of the country are very fond of Catcher, and actually collect them because of how diverse their colorings can be (although most have similar markings).

Once I come up with the species they were bred down from I will comment more on their coloring and why it is the way it is. But for now, this is my blurb!
