When you are feeling down, sometimes the freedom of being and doing whatever the hell you want is a nice stress reliever. After the event that happened last week with my game getting blasted down, i definitely needed some time alone to vent, and what better game to do some fuck up stuff to humanity than Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.
At least that's what i thought. The controls were a little odd on a PC (Using a PS3 controller via usb), dated graphics and combat...god, that was a laugh, since you cant auto aim very well without a specific configuration, and manual aim was nearly as bad as storm troopers. Though i really did want to know the fate of sonny, i needed something else.
That's when i took notice of Saints Row 3. Man that looked awesome, but if a game has numbers, then i just have this uncontrollable urge (Or see, since SR 1 was not ported to PC) to do thing in chronological order for the story and character. Yes, yes, i know you're not supposed to play games for the story and graphics, ONLY gameplay, but that's just not me, so deal.
Just recently finish SR 2, and boy did i love that! Tight controls, good feeling of worth by earning the awesome cars and weapons without cheating (Unlike the older GTA because of it's difficulty), and that was one tight game that i will hold dear to my heart. But of course, i really only played it so i can get a feel of the setting and characters/plot settup for SR3.
So just installed and tested out Saint Row 3, and i'm in LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE! So much better detail, combat is fun as hell (I only liked the Ronin fighting style in SR2) and my girl is so curvy and sexy, and epic jiggle physics <33333
AND 60 FPS, holy zen <3 The last game was a great port, but just wasnt coded right, so it only caped at 30
And the world is so much sexier <3 They really outdid themselves with the female character models. Even the civilians are sexy, something SR2 SOOO badly lacked. <33
Let's see where this goes, although I'm already loving it because of how epically sexy it is <3. Though i think I'm going redo my character and just make it look like me for the immersion.
I think i might come back to FA and my MLP game after i play this for a few weeks <3. I think this is one of the few games i'm going to try to 100% complete! <3
