Back around 1965, some inspired lunatic made a Q Scale* (1:1) gi-raffe car using a real boxcar and a fibreglass giraffe's head...

I can recommend it. The story is much better than the second movie. And it should be reasonably cheap now (wonder if it is not Netflix or similar?).

It even has a little furry romance in it...
