2012 was a difficult year for Ulysses. Many changes in his life and some personal losses endangered him to get into a depressive mood increasingly.

But to prevent that, he focused more to the sport he already did: Matiral Arts

It was the perfect sport for him to suppress his daily stress and to get away from the everyday life, until it became a part of it. Ulysses spent nearly every day in the gym for sparring and body building.
He fought several successful matches in his favorite martial art ‘Thai Boxing’ and also in the more in grappling focused sport ‘Brazilian Ju Jitsu’.

The increased amount of training however and the many victories that followed, caused a massive boost in his fighting career, until the one day the Furry Fighting Championship took notice of him.

He couldn’t resist back then and joined the FFC, eager to face the toughest fighter on this planet. The picture above shows an article from the FFC-Magazine issue Oct 2012 portraying him.

This article marked his beginning of a tough professional career, with a hard earned victorious debut, but also some hard beat downs in the following fights.
