I've read the book yes, but have not seen the movie. Trailer looks awesome though. :O I really dig the whole "Roaring 20's" mindset of it.

Yeah, it's a good film, I was entertained (though there were some stylistic choices that were, even though coherent with the content, a bit annoying for me as audience..)
But I was a bit weirded out by that marketing angle. The film sort of becomes exactly what the book tried to criticize, but I'm not sure it intended to become that, making the whole thing a bit of a farce.. so very mixed feelings about the whole thing. But fun 20s is always fun, so disregarding all content I was well entertained ;)

Hah, I never really realized that. x3 So much glitter in the commercial, it distracted me from remembering what the point of the story was.

But I'm glad you enjoyed it at least somewhat! Will definitely bump up my chances of seeing it someday. ;)
