Rinik is a demon hunter who lived in Rikt a couple of centuries before Minnus's time (eh, I'll explain who Minnus is eventually, I don't have any recent art of her to upload here at the moment). He sometimes teams up with his friend Morvidius in order to either kill demons or send them back to where they came from.

The demon hunters of Rikt are normally solitary - the two met when they ended up tracking down the same demon who was a lot more powerful than the usual specimens that tend to wander through into the mortal world. They managed to defeat the beast together and have been friends ever since.

Rinik himself is part demon, as is Morvidius (in Rikt it is generally believed that demons cannot be defeated by mere mortals). Despite this they have no sympathy for their quarry and will stop at nothing to track them down. A white raven called Hak can often be seen following Rinik around.
