CUZ SHE'S TEH SEX! :hump:
Wait a minute...
BOTH STAR AND AIRU ARE FEMALE!! WTF, HOW DOES THAT WORK??!! INCONCIEVABLE! >.-.< :O
XD
Airu had a contest on DA. It's due on Valentines Day. She wanted us to draw a mix of our character and her character and create some kind of lovechild. :P I made mine plural.
I think I'll make the orangish-goldish-greyish one a boy. The smaller golden-yellow grayish one will be a little sister. It's obvious the older brother looks like me. :3

Little sister looks more like Star's mother, whom I never drew. Star's mother is a pure gold Queen dragoness. No stripes on her (Star's father had stripes). I thought maybe Star's mother's genes would be stronger than Star's father's genes (who's not a dragon, but a Tiger Drake).
Again, the colour was sucked out of these two. The little girl's eyes were practically glowing on the paper. I hope you can tell that both their colourations are slightly different from eachother.
When they get older, their colours will be brighter. :3

Oh, eff, you got that right. -drools at teh sexy humpiness of Star-
Oh? You know, there are possibilities between two females mating... Which actually sounds kinda hawt. :3
Excellent, Star! You have some lovely bebies. They're so kyooot. You did a great job. :D
Hmhm. You know, a friend of mine on here says she drew some hatchlings for men and mah mate. ;3
I hope you win. =)

Yeah, there probably is. :P I dunno what you're imagining, but a DNA-stuffed wrap-around dragon dildo is what's going through my head. XD LOL
Hee, glad you like them. :3 I love getting two parents (regardless of gender) and mixing them together to see what it'll produce. Like I mentioned before, I have a fascination for genetics.
I may or may not win. I've seen the other stuff everyone else has entered. D: Holy eff, some of the stuff is amazing!
But if I win, that'd be AWESOME. And if I don't, that's okay. :) There are millions of other contests I can participate in.
Homg, I would LOVE to draw you and Riko's bebez. :D And I would also LOVE to see this other person's version of Fal/Riko bebez. :3

Lawl. That could be it. Hard to say unless we were geneticists. But that'd still be hawtt! x3
Har. Well your fascination paid off. :)
That's true. I still hope you win, no matter how good the other entries are.
And I'm not just saying that because I'm biased. :3
Well, there's nothing stopping you! I'd actually be interested to see that. =3
Ah, well, Zophia is the name of this "she" if you want to go see. I dunno when she'll upload them tho.

I still find your ability to give characters depth and weight amazing 0.0
These two are adorable, complet with the lagomorphic ears and bearing resemblance to both your and Airu's esteemed selves. The stripes, the eyes, the awesome wings - it's all in place, although I can't help noticing Star's apparent genetic dominance in these offspring of yours ;3
Cool picture, all in all, I really hope it'll it's due attention from the contest mistress !
On a side note, the colour etched away from this otherwise great picture is a shame, and I'd really recommend you to either switch your scanner for a newer one or to fine-tune the one you have. Most image viewers and editors have rather extensive gamma and color leveling toolkit, so you may try that too. It's just that I can feel that your artwork is much better in real life, and it's sad we can't enjoy it to a full extent.
Thank you for sharing, in any case ! ;3

Yup, I kinda think Star's golden-orange colours and black stripes would be a little more dominant over Airu's gray-coloured hide. :P But she had things that I considered more dominant, like her large ears, mane, and those spikes on her lower jaw and tail. Everything else kinda blended. Nothing canceled, nothing dominated.
But I don't think anyone's noticed that these two don't have Star's blue and pink stripes. Those particular stripes on Star are actually mutations. The harmless kind, of course. :P I don't really consider mutations to be hereditary. (Even though maybe some could be)
Well I once had a program that could sharpen my images very well. Unfortunately it's outdated and I doubt this computer would download it. It's worth a try, and if it doesn't work, I'll just have to find a more updated version.
Aanndd...I kinda forgot the name of it. XD But my sister knows what it is, since she used it a lot, and still has it on her old computer.
I like to believe the reasons why drawings look so pale or washed out on the computer is because the scanner's light is so bright. The light is shining onto the paper and reflecting off, and the camera inside the scanner is picking that up.
I'm sure many already know that. :P
Thank you! ^.-.^

Well, I guess those pink and blue markings are too exquisite to be anything less than uniquely endemic to your character.
Mutations are heriditary if they are bound to the dominant gene that can override the "classic" corresponding gene, and are only relevant on the scale of population if the bearer of this mutation manages to establish a place high enough in this species` hierarchy to pass on his or her genetic material several times, preferrably negating the procreation ambitions of his or her rivals, and considering the majority of resulting offspring survives.
Gee, I really forgot a lot of what I've picked up in the biology class v.v
Anyway, it's still a cool experiment you've run here. The little sad one is utterly adorable ;3

And I thought I learned everything in biology, and kept it all in my little brain...I HAS A LEAKAGE! D8
Well, I guess I can say those two different stripes would be considered a resessive gene through any of Star's offspring. I just kinda doubt that any of her offspring would inherit those two stripes.

That would secure those marks as hers and hers only - yay for the uniqueness ! ;3
A friend of mine who also happens to be Master in biology recomended me to wipe everything I've learned in school biology 101 clean off my mind, since the recent discoveries in the
multiple fields of this science branch massively contradict the previously learned facts.
It'd be nice to find some time for revitalizing my factual data on a subject - a shame if I let all the stuff I've learned to slip into obsoleteness. Science is like a fashion in a way - you've got to keep up with it in order to understand what it's all about. Only it's not as simple to denounce science as a crime against common sense ;3
